Larry grew up on a family farm in Northeast Kansas and received a BS degree in Agriculture Economics from Kansas State University. He joined J.D. Heiskell in the summer of 2007 bringing with him over 25 years of experience in the grain and feed industry. This experience includes local and regional grain merchandising, commodity purchasing for industry leaders in the pet food and vitamin premix industry and most recently merchandising by-products for a leading Midwest ethanol producer.

Hal joined J.D. Heiskell in 2007 to trade fiber products after spending five years as a marketing consultant working with producers on price risk management. Prior to consulting, Hal was a grain originator in the Texas Panhandle with Sunray Co-op. He had also gained experience in feed ingredient procurement and logistics while managing a protein supplement plant for Continental Grain’s cattle feeding division. Hal graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics after a background in ranching and feed handling. He resides in Visalia, CA. with his wife Pamela and three children.
